About the Conference

Natural Products in the 21st Century is an international scientific conference dedicated to the latest breakthroughs in natural product research. Designed to unite researchers working across genomics, metabolomics, chemistry, and molecular biology, the event provides a collaborative space to share ideas, tools, and innovations that are shaping the future of natural product research.

Over the course of 2.5 days, participants will explore cutting-edge topics such as genome mining, computational biology, experimental validation, structure prediction, and integrated omics approaches. Through a dynamic mix of keynote lectures, contributed talks, poster sessions, and roundtable discussions, this conference offers an ideal platform to stay updated, exchange expertise, and connect with fellow scientists. With an anticipated attendance of 120–150 participants, it also presents a unique opportunity for meaningful networking in a focused and collaborative environment.

This event is organized entirely by the doctoral candidates of the EU-funded MAGic-MOLFUN network, with guidance and support from their academic supervisors. We invite you to explore the people behind the conference — both the PhD students and their Principal Investigators — who bring diverse expertise and enthusiasm to this initiative.
