During the first day, we had short introduction-presentations from both PIs and the Doctoral Candidates (DC) and the DCs had chance to work on their Career Development plans. The second and third day was for Data Management Plan, Code of Conduct, Good scientific practices, research dissemination as well as Social Media for Researchers.
Spring School 2024 and Midterm Review at Wageningen University
February 5-9th in Wageningen, Netherlands
The MAGic-MOLFUN Spring School at Wageningen University featured lectures on natural product biosynthesis, data processing, and sequencing technologies, highlighting tools like antiSMASH, MITES MIBIG, and ARTS. The event culminated in a final exercise where students applied their knowledge to identify biosynthetic gene clusters from compound structures.
Workshop at Fundación Medina – Natural Products (Bio)Chemistry and Metabolomics
June 25-28th in Granda, Spain
The first day featured PhD status updates and a visit to the Alhambra, followed by three days of focused lectures and hands-on workshops on NP Isolation, Metabolomics and Structural Elucidation, conducted jointly with HOTBIO DN. The sessions included NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, data processing tools and a visit through MEDINA facilities fostering collaboration and deep learning.
